The Founders of Premium Prose India are a husband and wife team. They met while studying Meditation, Sanskrit, Indian Philosophy, the Upanishads and the Bhagvad Gita. They are both teachers with decades of experience. They were inspired to retell the greatest tales of India by seeing the delight and creativity which these stories fostered in their students.
Gilbert Mane trained and practised as a lawyer, and then changed careers to become Headmaster of John Colet School in Sydney, Australia. He presided over the growth of the School for twenty-five years, guiding it to become one of the top performing academic schools in Australia. His favourite part of teaching was telling children the great stories from India and around the world. He has a life-long interest in Indian culture and storytelling, and these passions have now combined in Premium Prose India.
Sarah Mane was a top classroom teacher at John Colet School, Sydney, for over twenty years. At the same time she was Choir Mistress and also in charge of administration.
